Acclaimed miniseries Band of Brothers is coming to Netflix in September

It has been called the best miniseries of all time and the superlatives ran out of steam when audiences and critics tried to describe exactly how good they thought Band of Brothers was. And it’s clear, with an average rating of 9.4 on IMDb and 97% on Rotten Tomatoes just over 20 years after its premiere on HBO, it’s easy to understand that the words weren’t quite enough. In fact, the almost ridiculously star-studded war drama starring Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg was a big reason why HBO got as big as it did.

Band of Brothers has only been seen on HBO, or HBO Max as the service is now called, at least for a while before it will only be called Max. On September 15, however, the series will also be available to Netflix subscribers, as it moves into the competitor along with its companion series. Warner Bros. who now owns Max has already done the same with both Ballers and Insecure and now it is time for Band of Brothers and the independent sequel, The Pacific from 2010, which opens up completely new opportunities to see the acclaimed series for those who have not some HBO account but, on the other hand, is on one with Netflix.
