Agent 007 with the right to kill, our quintessentially British spy darling. A character who has appeared in 27 films, countless books and a whole bunch of video games, and whose popularity (based on the success of the last film) is still unquestioned.
But which of the films is actually the best? Yes, that question has now been asked of the British audience, who were allowed to rank all of the titles in a poll.
The mob spoke with conviction, and Skyfall took home a landslide victory with nearly 18 percent of all votes. The classic Goldfinger with Sean Connery in the lead role was somewhat surprisingly content with second place (8.5 percent of the votes), while Daniel Craig also snagged third place with No Time to Die with seven percent of the votes.
So which one is the least popular according to the poll? Yes, that “honor” goes to Never Say Never Again, which received as little as 0.6 percent of the vote — a film that’s also (actually) unofficial due to the circumstances under which it was produced. As well as being the last time Sean Connery portrayed Agent 007.
Who are your three favorite James Bonds, and which do you consider to be the absolute worst?
