We’ve known for a long time that Brie Larson is a Nintendo fan, as Captain Marvel has appeared in many commercials for the game manufacturer and often spoke on social media about how much time she spends with Animal Crossing: New Horizons, among other things Things. But it seems she’s a much bigger Nintendo fan than we might have thought.
In a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, the Scott Pilgrim star opened up about her love for Nintendo and how the company has influenced her life:
“(Video games) are kind of what connects me to my sister. My mom says her favorite sound is hearing me and my sister laugh while we play video games together. I think I’ve probably played every Nintendo game there ever was.” I’m coming out of this point, and so it’s just a part of my life. It always has been.”
The “Lessons in Chemistry” leader also spoke a little about the upcoming “Princess Peach: Showtime” and her thoughts on the legendary SpongeBob royalty once again being the protagonists in their own adventure:
“It’s great to accompany them on their journey. I’ve just loved her my whole life, so to see her have this standalone game and not only that, but all these different facets and different characters and her own gameplay, it’s just a thrill.”
So expect to see clips of the Fast-X and Fortnite star playing Princess Peach: Showtime after the premiere on March 22nd.
