Already the 1,255 euro expensive Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra knows how to impress with his camera. The Korean manufacturer should come up with something for the successor. The telephoto lens in particular is to be revised on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. So now 50 megapixels should be available and deliver a good image quality even with five times magnification.
Galaxy S24 Ultra: Better zoom and more power than the Galaxy S23 Ultra?
Instead of 10 megapixels and a small 1/3.52 inch sensor like the Galaxy S23 Ultra, the telephoto lens should now have a new 1/2.52 inch sensor. With this upgrade and the option for pixel binning and in-sensor zoom technology, even a 5x zoom should deliver good results. In addition, Samsung could install a 12 megapixel ultra wide-angle lens, a 10 megapixel periscope lens and a lens with 200 megapixels in the four camera lenses on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. On the front, the selfie camera is to be renewed and has a resolution of 12 megapixels.
Either the Samsung Exynos 2400 or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 should provide propulsion. As a previous leak states, the Qualcomm SoC could beat the Apple A16 Bionic out of the iPhone 14 Pro. An integrated battery with 5,000 mAh should ensure sufficient battery life and can be charged with up to 45 watts via USB-C. Similar to the Apple iPhone 14, Samsung could also offer a satellite connection so that emergency calls can be sent even without cell phone reception. According to the well-known leaker Ice Universe, the Galaxy S24 Ultra should have a thinner case with the camera lenses protruding 2 mm from the case. Overall, the flagship expected in spring 2024 could be a bit wider, but shorter. The Galaxy S24 Ultra may also be available with a titanium frame, similar to the rumored iPhone 15 Pro Max.
