There is no peace between Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia. After Garcia dominated Haney, who was a heavy favorite, their match ended in controversy as Garcia tested positive for the banned substance Ostarine.
The fight was canceled and declared a “no contest,” and Garcia was fined for his infraction. However, “King Ryan” now claims that Haney asked DAZN to remove the footage of their fight.
This claim by Garcia on Instagram attracted a lot of attention. In the post, Garcia thanked DAZN for rejecting Haney’s alleged request.
Garcia wrote the following in the post:
“Wow, thanks DAZN for not allowing this to happen.”
“The guy tried to delete it from the internet.”
“That’s crazy”
Haney did not remain silent. He quickly commented on Garcia’s post, stating:
“This is an ‘upper limit’ (false claim).”
Fans are now in a dilemma. Is this claim true or is it just another outburst from Garcia?
Yesterday, a fan on Xu (formerly Twitter) confronted Haney, accusing him of trying to remove footage of the fight. One fan wrote:
“Devin Haney, I will support you in everything that has to do with exposing the scammer, but for now here (thumbs down)”
“And you’re suing him for affecting your income? I know, do what you want. But now you want to erase the story? When you did that with the TJ fighter, we went the other way. We won’t forget.”
This post suggests that Haney has a history of such actions. Haney, obviously frustrated, quickly responded, “You don’t really believe such nonsense, do you?”
His denials were swift and firm, aimed at quelling the rumors. This interaction further escalated the already heated controversy.
