Irina Sherbakova from "Memorial": "Russian people have gotten used to violence"

Ms. Scherbakova, the Russian opposition in the country was eliminated by Putin. But there are many organizations in exile that are critical of Putin – including the human rights organization Memorial, of which you are a founding member. Why don’t you join forces?
What does it mean to unite? Just because people are anti-Putin and anti-war doesn’t mean they agree on other political issues. They are also scattered in different countries. And the political core around which the liberal-oppositional Russians could unite is simply missing.
