New Aldi gaming PC: Medion flagship with modern hardware for 3,200 euros

Shortly before Gamescom, Aldi is renewing its range of Medion PCs and is also making some Medion Erazer gaming PCs available for sale. The big difference this time is that the hardware is up-to-date, i.e. 13th generation Intel CPUs with Nvidia graphics cards based on Ada Lovelace are installed. The flagship of the stationary gaming PCs is the Medion Erazer X30, which leads the complete PC line-up with the Engineer X30 and the Bandit P20.

Erazer Hunter X30: Aldi launches new artillery

While the Medion PCs at Aldi have been equipped with 12th generation CPUs and Ampere GPUs in the past, there is now the overdue upgrade to the 13th generation and Ada Lovelace. The Hunter X30 relies on the “powerful hardware duo” consisting of the Core i7-13700K from Intel and the Geforce RTX 4080 from Nvidia. On the memory side, the complete PC also shows its nice side, because buyers should be able to access a WD_Black SN850X SSD with a capacity of 2 terabytes, while 32 GiB DDR5 RAM from Kingston Fury is included.

Despite backwards compatibility, the processor sits on a Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX motherboard. The power supply is a Seasonic Focus GX-850. Medion describes the front of the In-Win housing with RGB lighting as optimized. It also provides more efficient cooling with two fans behind a mesh panel. The cooling system is complemented by an additional fan on the back and honeycomb ventilation openings on the side as well as an Alphacool Eisbaer 240 water cooling system.

The dimensions of the Medion Erazer Hunter X30 are ultimately 210 x 445 x 476 mm (W x H x D) with a weight of 12 kilograms. From August 20, the Aldi online shop will be stocked with the three gaming PCs and other gaming laptops. The Medion Erazer Hunter X30 should then cost almost 3,200 euros. As always, the following applies here: If you are a self-builder and find the configurations appealing, you should add up the prices of the individual components and see whether you can get it under the listed 3,200 euros.
