Ukrainian Defense Forces have recaptured the village of Uroshaine in Donetsk Oblast. This was confirmed by Hanna Maliar, Ukraine’s Deputy Defense Minister. “Our defenders are consolidating their positions. The offensive continues,” Maliar said, as reported by Ukrainska Pravda.
Andrii Kovalov, spokesman for the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, also stated that active offensive operations would be taking place on the Bakhmut, Melitopol and Berdyansk fronts. Ukrainska Pravda further quotes Kovalov that Ukrainian soldiers are using artillery to engage identified Russian targets, also conducting counter-battery operations.
According to Ukrainska Pravda, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has been reporting successes in the Uroschaine area for several days.
