A new trailer has been released for the twin-stick shooter REMEDIUM and Early Access on PC has been set for September.
REMEDIUM, the twin-stick shooter set in the dark post-apocalyptic renaissance from developer Sobaka Studio and publisher ESDigital Games, is releasing its first deadly episode on Thursday September 14, 2023 via Steam Early Access and the Epic Games Store for Windows, Mac and Linux on PC, with a second and third part coming later this year.
Console releases for PlayStation 4|5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch are planned for 2024.
From Tuesday, August 22, 2023, a new playtest will be available to try out on the REMEDIUM Steam page. This demo will be available for the duration of Gamescom 2023 until Sunday 27th August.
A catastrophic event a century ago still ravages the remains of a dying continent. The Gray Plague has left bloodthirsty beasts in its wake to stalk the world, while citizens hide and seek a cure. The tragedy takes an even worse turn when one of the few remaining survivors becomes infected and is forced to transform into an unspeakable monstrosity.
Find a cure quickly or succumb to the gruesome consequences of the creeping infection. Run, shoot and dodge through vicious hordes of chimeras, mutants, elementals, gargoyles and golems in the derelict landscapes. As his condition worsens, you must use the horrifying symptoms to your advantage to take down the bloodthirsty creatures that stand in your way.
Seeks limited resources to brew powerful potions, injections, and amalgams. Use these to upgrade equipment and weapons, or increase your hero’s strength and resolve. Combines firepower with elemental bonds to create special munitions like piercing orbs of ice and electrifying blasts. Overcome the grueling boss battles to find an antidote and save a world.
