Scarlett Johansson has confirmed for the upcoming Jurassic World film

We already know that a new Jurassic film is in the works that will take the series “back to its roots.” The screenwriter is David Koepp, a legendary screenwriter who wrote the screenplay for the original Jurassic Park and The Lost World, among others.

And now we know that Scarlett Johansson will play one of the main roles in the upcoming film (which was already rumored last spring). In a statement to ComicBook, she herself confirms her participation:

“I’m a huge Jurassic Park fan. It’s one of the first movies I saw in the cinema. I remember watching it so vividly. It was life-changing. It was overwhelming. I can’t express how excited I am.” The script is so incredible that he wrote it.

Apparently Universal is so confident in the project, which will be directed by Rogue One director Gareth Edwards, that they have already set a release date of July 2, 2025.
