You can now download and play five classics from British studio Rare on Switch. Those who subscribe to Nintendo Switch Online (plus the expansion pack in the case of the Nintendo 64 title) can enjoy titles originally released for the NES, Super Nintendo and Nintendo 64. The games include the following highlights:

- Snake Rattle N Roll (NES)
- RC Pro-AM (NES)
- Battletoads in Battlemaniacs (SNES)
- Killer Instinct (SNES)
- Explosive Corps (N64)
The most anticipated are probably Killer Instinct (a fantastic 16-bit conversion of the Ultra 64 arcade game) and Blast Corps (one of the studio’s most exciting, fresh and captivating works). This news not only delights retro fans, but also underlines the good relationship between Microsoft (the owner of Rare) and Nintendo. Grounded and Pentiment were also announced for the hybrid console today.
