In September, Shuyan Saga takes you into a Chinese martial arts fantasy universe to save the five kingdoms.
ESDigital Games and Lofty Sky Entertainment are bringing the graphic novel adventure Shuyan Saga to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4|5 and Nintendo Switch on September 22nd, 2023.
The title was launched in 2017 for PC, iOS and Android platforms. Optimized combat controls have been implemented for the console implementation, as well as support for a number of additional languages, including French, Italian, German, Spanish, Brazilian and Korean.
Set in an ancient Chinese martial arts fantasy universe, Shuyan Saga tells the story of the rebellious princess Shuyan, who embarks on a life-changing journey to become a true kung fu student and stop the evil guer horde from destroying the Five to destroy kingdoms.
Players can expect an authentic kung fu story with over 1,400 beautiful artworks and exciting 3D action battles – with over 300 combat animations based on moving kung fu techniques by Shifu Longfei Yang, the master of the Shanxi Praying Mantis Style.
The Shuyan Saga experience is further enhanced by the beautifully illustrated panels by Chinese comic master Daxiong, known for his work on Dark Horse’s Star Wars comics and Justice League for DC, among others. Daxiong’s stunning artwork is perfectly coordinated with the game’s original soundtrack, composed by award-winning composer Aaron Tsang.
