HFC or Hardcore Fighting Championship is a Russian organization that has “justified” its name, albeit in a disgusting way. Last weekend an event took place in Moscow where Ali Heibati (0-1), who made his professional debut, performed. He lost by technical knockout in the first round, but the sporting part of the story was forgotten.

Upon entering the cage and the opening ceremony, Heibati “shot” the ring girl, who, like everywhere else in the civilized world, wore the number of the round. Ring girls have been part of fighting culture and famous boxing events since the 1950s, but this is apparently unknown to Iranian fighters.

After the defeat, Heibati was attacked by a Russian member of the criminal milieu for humiliating the girl and giving his opponent an “idiot punch.” The fighter later apologized and the organization distanced itself from the incident. The HFC called on all organizations worldwide to support the exclusion of Heibati from sport.
